Ranakpur village is located in Pali district of Rajasthan, known for its famous Jain Temple dedicated to Tirthankara Adinatha. The spectacular temple was contracted in 1458 AD and it is well documented in a 1437 CE copper-plate record and a Sanskrit text Soma-Saubhagya Kavya. It marks its presence in a valley on the western side of the Aravali Mountain Ranges and betweenJodhpur and Udaipur. Ranakpur also has a small Sun Temple managed by the Royal Family of Rajasthan The untouched countryside and mountains of Aravali ranges and the essence of sacred and spiritual history make Ranakpur an attraction for natural and enthusiasts.
These are the trekking locations outside the Udaipur city. Ranakpur is located about 90 Km away from Udaipur and Kumbhalgarh is located about 85 Km away from Udaipur but in a different direction. In this tour, we will start our journey from Ranakpur to endpoint destination which is Kumbhalgarh.
